That's right Rob was on the news again. This time he talks about how to save money by upgrading your old computer instead of purchasing a new one.

Double Agent to DCI

Rob has accepted a position with Best Buy as a DCI for the Geek Squad computer department. Basically that means he will be a supervisor for the department in the store.

He is really excited about starting this new position since it will be something different.

Michigan Visit!!!

That's right, Jen is making a visit to Michigan next month. November 18 - 24 to be exact. She is looking forward to this trip since she has been missing everyone a lot. Anyone who wants to see her while she is up is more than welcome to get a hold of her and make plans. Be prepared because more than likely she will be camera happy (she is making a calendar with friends and family pictures so hopefully all who sees her will be willing to get photographed).

In other news, Jen received a package in the mail the other day. In it was a certifcate from her college stating she made the President's List for having a 4.0 GPA. Rob is very proud of her and hopes she keeps up the good work in her schooling. After this semester Jen will have one more semester to go until she gets her associate's in business management.

Just a Friendly Update

So we are finally moved into the new apartment and most of the things are unpacked. We are debating if we are going to do a video to give you all the grand tour of the place or just pictures. We went for a walk the other day and I cannot begin to tell you how peaceful and beautiful this place is. We can not wait to show you our new home. Not a whole lot has been going on besides moving. Jen is about finished with another semester of school. Two more and she will have her associate's degree!! She is excited and tired. After getting her degree she might take a few months off to relax and then go back for her bachelors. There are so many choices that she is looking at doing but Rob is here to support her in any way. Rob is working as usual and thinking about going back to school. Nothing is in the works yet but just doing some research. Today he is going to be enjoying football...which he does every Sunday.

Jen is also very excited because she has many animals that she can watch and feed :)

The Big Move!!!

So it's official!!! Rob and Jen are now moving into their new apartment as of today. Currently Rob and his friend Brandon are driving to take more boxes while Jen posts this blog. Can we say she is lazy? haha Actually after she is done blogging, she is going to be boxing up some more goodies :)

As for details about the big announcement from last post, yes Rob and Jen are starting to plan for a big event. This event has not been officially announced due to deciding on a date and what we want to do. As of right now we are looking March 2010. Below is what Jen is looking at as a wedding dress. It's actually a bridesmaid dress but it is very similar to the wedding dress she wants and half the cost.

Moving, Holidays, IPhone Oh My!!

First off hope everyone is having a wonderful and safe Labor Day weekend. Both Jen and Rob didn't really have the time to relax and have a long weekend. Both had to work Friday, and Saturday and Jen even had to work Sunday. Since both of us are off today, we spent some time organizing and boxing up some things, doing the laundry and even did a little shopping. We have one week until we take possession of the new apartment and then another week to move everything over. We are both really excited and hope that this week will fly by very quickly.

This coming Sunday is the release of the iPhone at Best Buy. Jen is excited about it because it will be bringing in a lot of sales but at the same time Sunday is going to be a mad house. She has a 7:30am meeting tomorrow to show how to activate and set up everything for the customer.

That's all that is really going on in our lives in Florida. So far no hurricanes have hit and it doesn't seem like we are going to be getting too much rain or winds or anything from upcoming hurricanes.

Update on Fay

So yesterday was the big day that Fay touched land. After the craziness that happened, we are fine. I mean, I don't know how much more of the kind of sunny, mostly cloudy but no rain we could take. Seriously, we had no rain. We did have a little bit of stronger winds but nothing out of the ordinary. Fay turned out to be a dud for us.

In other news, only a few more weeks until we are in our new apartment!!!

Tropical Storm Fay

As of right now this is what it is going to look like for tropical storm Fay's path. It doesn't look terribly severe for us but we might still get hit with a ton of rain and winds. If there are any changes, we will make sure that everyone is aware.

Just a little update

Nothing really new is going on. Rob's brother AJ made it into Tampa safely last night and we have been enjoying his company so far. The weather is a bit gloomy since it was raining earlier and from the looks of the weather, will continue to be this way. Hopefully it will clear up while AJ is here so we can go to Universal or Busch Gardens or something.

Jen's cousins Kate and Andrew are currently in South Africa on a missionary trip. She has been reading their blogs each day and glad to hear they are doing well. Please keep them in their prayers that they have a successful and safe journey there.

That's about all that is going on. Less than a month we will have our new apartment and be in the process of moving everything over. It can't get here sooner!!

New Apartment, Concerts and Family visits

We have been meaning to write for sometime now but due to busy schedule we have not had the chance. Jen wrote earlier about us getting on a waiting list for an apartment closer to work. Well, WE GOT THE APARTMENT!!! We actually got a better deal with a two bedroom/two bathroom apartment. It's bigger than the one we have currently and it overlooks one of the lakes. We are going to attempt to afford the place on our own but if need be, we have the other room we can rent out. We are bother really excited about it and will have pictures of the place once we get possession of the place. That date will be September 10th and will be moving in that week

In other news, Rob's brother, AJ, will be joining us in sunny Florida next week for about a week. Rob is very excited about this since it has been sometime since he has seen his brother.

Also, the last two weeks we had a fantastic time going to concerts. The first concert was July 22nd. We saw Poison, Sebastian Bach and Dokken. We could care less about Dokken but had a blast with Sebastian Bach and of course Poison. We would definitely go see them in concert again. Above are a few pics from the concert. The top two pics are of Sebastic Back and Dokken, the bottom two are Poison. We had really good seats. We were about 20 rows back from the stage.

The next concert was July 30th. We saw Journey, Heart and Cheap Trick. We were very impressed with both Cheap Trick and Heart. Journey has a new lead singer and even though he is no Steve Perry, he can still rock it as the voice of Journey. The first pic is of Cheap Trick, the second two are Heart and the last two are Journey.

Elizabeth Lyn Schneider

She is finally here!! Jen's cousins Kevin and Angela Schneider has welcomed their first child. Daughter Elizabeth Lyn Schneider was born July 29, 2008 at 12:56am. She weighed 8lbs 1oz and was 19 inches long. Both daughter and mother are doing fine. Congratulations Kevin and Angela!! She is beautiful.

Baby Schneider is Almost Here!!!

So Jen just read her Aunt Cindy's blog and found out that her cousin Angela is now in the hospital. Baby Schneider is on his/her way!!

This is very exciting since this is the first baby for Kevin and Angela. Angela is 42 weeks along and was admitted into the hospital around nine tonight. Baby and Angela are both doing fine. We wish her nothing but a safe and healthy delivery.

We can not wait to hear more about this exciting event. Jen wishes she could be up in Michigan right now to celebrate this special occasion and since she can not be there, she expects lots of pictures to be sent to her through e-mail or seen on blogs or facebook.com (this is a hint to everyone in Jen's family haha).

Representing BBYM!!

Jen has officially become a member of the Best Buy Mobile team. Her shirts came in the other day which completes the transformation. She is really excited about the upcoming work and learning as much as she can so hopefully she can move up with the company.

Jen is Officially a Floridian

Today Rob and I went to get my title switched from Michigan to Florida and get new tags. It's official, I am now a Floridian!! I got a speciality license plate so I'm officially making the world a better place for sea turtles. I know what a shocker that I got a license plate with turtles on it.

As for Florida itself, it's been raining almost everyday. The other day we had a really huge storm with high winds, thunder and lightning. It was really cool to watch and was thankful that I was not driving in that stuff. I expected this because of the hurricane going through Texas. We tend to get the rain whenever hurricanes are near. Sometimes it's nice to turn off the air for a bit and open the windows (at least the ones that aren't bringing in rain) and listen and smell the rain.

Today was another typical Friday. Rob and I relaxed and enjoyed each others company. I am also working on finishing up my school work for the unit since it is due tomorrow. It's been a struggle because I am starting to get burned by school but I keep telling myself that I need to work hard and that school is almost over with. It will all be worth it in the end.

Apartment Hunting

Rob and I are officially on the waiting list for our own apartment. That's right this is the first time Rob and I will have a place to ourselves. The place is Lake Carlton Arms which is a 500 acre (yes that's right 500 acres!!) apartment complex (second largest in the country). It has two full size lakes, four swimming pools (three are heated), tennis courts, basketball courts, a nature trail, work out facilities, saunas, guest suites (in case any of you would love to come stay with us for a cheaper cost of a hotel room) and more!! We are very excited and hope that we will get the size that we want. We won't know until next month since they have a 30 day notice policy for its residents. I can't believe that we will be moving again in September. It's a hassle since this will be my fourth time moving in three and half years. At least it will be in a nicer area, have 24 hours security and not have to worry about roommates who come home loud and drunk at 4am or not clean up after themselves.

Dark Knight

It's finally here!!Rob and I will be seeing the Dark Knight this weekend. Finally the movie I have been waiting for all year is finally here!! We would have probably have gone tonight at midnight if he did not have to work at 8am tomorrow.We are going to try for Saturday. If only it would come sooner!!!
